SCHREINER MUSEUM

The Schreiner Mansion Museum is a university building located in the heart of the Texas’ hill-country town, Kerrville. The 1879 building was the former home of Captain Charles Schreiner who was the founder of Schreiner University. In 1996-97, Kincannon Studios was hired to survey the building and provide the museum with a Restoration Report. The comprehensive plan included detailed recommendations, as well as a cost analysis. Eventually the restoration work was completed by the Masonry and Arts Division of Kincannon Studios and included, stone replacement, retooling, as well as the reconstruction of the two gables on the primary facade.
