SAINT MARY OVERVIEW

Saint Mary Cathedral is located at the corner of 10th and Brazos in Austin, Texas. Over the years, Saint Mary’s has engaged Kincannon Studios for various projects.

In October 2010 the presiding priest, Rev. Albert Laforet, Jr, wrote this of our principal, “Holly Kincannon was the lead designer for the restoration of Saint Mary Cathedral. She designed many of the beautiful features of the restored Cathedral, such as the narthex and the wainscot. She worked well with all parties involved including the former Bishop of Austin, Archbishop Gregory M Aymond of New Orleans. In addition, Ms Kincannon developed an alternative streetscape for the Brazos Great Street project…and an alternative campus design for the Cathedral School and offices. Ms Kincannon has worked well with our community and done an excellent job for us.”
