CEMETERY OVERVIEW

Our studio has had a long-standing interest in the development and protection of cemeteries and their monuments. This engagement has allowed us to participated at various levels of the profession.  With a background in site planning, Kincannon Studios has produced Master Planning and Phasing documents for newly established cemeteries, but we have also provided designs for their accompanying cemetery features.

For existing properties, we have executed comprehensive restoration plans, including the preservation of individual monuments. With each project comes a request for a different set of requirements. So, for some we have acted as consultants providing only specification guidelines, while in others, we have led a project through the full process including cemetery planning, monument design, monument fabrication, construction administration and site supervision.
