BRAZOS STREET

As part of the Great Streets Program, Brazos Street has become one of the latest additions to the City of Austin’s streetscape improvements. Saint Mary Cathedral, located at the corner of 10th and Brazos, engaged Kincannon Studios to act as a consultant and design liaison. Our studio was required to establish design guidelines, propose design alternates, supervise foundation excavations and in general work closely with public engineers to create compatible streetscape details and minimize the overall impact on the historic structure.
